On April 9th, the moment had arrived: the specially assembled “Brandhaard” Training Set was officially delivered by our Merijn and Walter to the team at the Limburg-Noord Safety Region. A great milestone in a carefully planned process, in which FireWare was selected in 2024 as the supplier of training equipment for the region!
Within the Safety Region, a dedicated team was formed during the preliminary phase of the tender process to shape the future of professional training. During the market consultation, FireWare was able to respond effectively with a concrete proposal for training materials, fully tailored to the practical needs and preferences of the region.
Together with project leader Danny Leenders, the delivery conditions were further developed. The result: a well-thought-out and comprehensive training set that will be rolled out as the standard across the entire region. Every station will have the same set, the same quality, and the same capabilities.
The set includes the FireWare Firespot MK2, Soundbox V3, Mini-Silkflame LED, Plug On-Off Remote, and a Schuko distribution block 2×2, all packed in a convenient Euronorm FireWare crate with foam interior to safely and securely store the staging materials. Additionally, the region invested in expansion sets with the FireSpot XXL, enabling the setup of larger training scenarios. In a previous tender, FireWare had already been chosen as the supplier of smoke machines, which are now present at all stations.
Thanks to this standardization, it becomes easier to conduct exercises in a comparable manner across different stations. This facilitates cooperation between stations and ensures a uniform, recognizable approach. As a result, everyone is better prepared for realistic scenarios.
