Now there is an extremely powerful FireSpot: The FireSpot XXL: With no less than 60 high power LEDs, this FireSpot is a whopping 15 times more powerful than the FireSpot original and the FireSpot MK2.

Also suitable for use in daylight and for raging fires

There are situations where a single FireSpot Original or a FireSpot MK2 falls short. For example, outdoors in full daylight or to simulate a large raging fire in the evening. Of course, this could be solved by grouping multiple spots, but now there’s a more efficient solution: The FireSpot XXL.

This new FireSpot has enough power to be used even during the day. It also provides an extremely realistic glow in the evening. Ideal for simulating truly large fires!

8 simulation programs for different fires: including Thermal Runaway simulation

The FireSpot XXL is equipped with 8 simulation programs to simulate various types of fires super realistically:

  1. All LEDs fully on (same functionality as the original FireSpot)
  2. Slow Fire (the red and orange LEDs create the illusion of flickering fire with moderate intensity)
  3. Fast Fire (the red and orange LEDs create the illusion of flickering fire with high intensity)
  4. Thermal Runaway: (the LEDs create the typical flickering effect seen in a battery thermal runaway)
  5. Red Static (for simulating a glowing fire or a fire with low oxygen: the red LEDs are continuously on)
  6. Red Dynamic (for simulating a glowing fire or a fire with low oxygen: the red LEDs simulate the flickering of a fire)
  7. Orange Static (for simulating a bright fire with sufficient oxygen or an explosion: the orange LEDs are continuously on)
  8. Orange Dynamic (for simulating a fire with sufficient oxygen: the orange LEDs simulate the flickering of the fire)

When developing the simulation programs, consideration was given to achieving learning and lesson objectives and the ability to dynamically stage scenarios! You can combine multiple FireSpots and control them with, for example, the Pandora 230. This allows you to start with a glowing fire, and as more oxygen becomes available, switch to a bright fire with the push of a button! Programs with the new ‘soft start’ function are ideal for this. When power is applied, the expansion comes on in a few seconds. Programs without ‘soft start’ are perfect for creating, for example, a bright orange flash simultaneously with an explosion sound.

Designed for use with and without training smoke

With the new simulation programs, there are numerous additional possibilities for use without training smoke. But let’s be honest: the most beautiful effect is achieved when you color training smoke correctly with this new FireSpot XXL! Due to its high light output, this spot can also be used effectively with thicker layers of smoke.

Fully waterproof:

The FireSpot XXL is IP67 waterproof! You switch between simulation programs by holding a magnet near the housing. This allows you to “step” through the different programs. So no switches on the outside of the housing! The spot “remembers” its last chosen setting.

Also, the 2-meter-long power cord is equipped with a waterproof extendable Powercon True 1 connector. Handy for simulations where water is actually used.

Special optics for flame simulation:

The optics of the FireSpot XXL are extremely powerful. As a light source, 30 powerful red and 30 powerful orange LEDs have been chosen. This provides a beautiful and realistic flame image without color mixing, as can occur with RGB LEDs.

The lenses are designed so that the red LEDs form a line and the orange LEDs create a “hotspot” within it. This optics makes it possible to create a very realistic flame image! Theater fixtures are designed to achieve as even color mixing as possible: with the FireSpots, we absolutely did not want this: Flames have a wide variety of colors in them. The optics of the FireSpot XXL are specially designed to approach this effect as realistically as possible!

Robust construction:

FireSpots are not handled gently during a simulation. The spots endure a lot of stress. Therefore, the housing of the FireSpot XXL is made of anodized aluminum and there are an absolute minimum of protruding parts.

The spot can be placed at any angle. The light output with the power consumption of 80 Watts can be considered spectacular.
