With the Simulations Set Large, you can create dynamic fire scenarios that were once unimaginable. Create realistic flame effects, integrate sound, and control everything with your own phone or laptop.
You have full control over the scenario in your pocket. Your own phone (or tablet) is your remote control. This allows you to quickly intervene in the course of the scenario. If the response takes too long, you can easily expand the fire. If the response is efficient, you can shrink the fire. This is simple escalation and de-escalation.
The central control unit in the Simulations Set Large is the Pandora’s Box 230. It creates a Wi-Fi network that you can easily connect to by scanning the QR code. A web interface will appear on your phone or tablet, allowing you to control all elements of your simulation. With up to 3 flame effects, a smoke machine, and sound, this setup gives you access to simulations that were previously only available to experts.
The Simulations Set Small is perfect for simulating larger thermal runaways, such as fires in the battery pack of an electric vehicle. The FireSpot XXL and FireSpot MK2 feature a special flame effect that simulates the repeated explosion of battery cells. There is also a matching sound in the Pandora’s Box 230, where you can hear the cells exploding and venting. Combine these elements in your scenario, and training for the energy transition becomes much easier.
In addition to thermal runaways, you can of course simulate much more with the Simulations Set Large. Your creativity is the limit. You have access to three flame effects: Phoenix Silkflame, FireSpot XXL, and FireSpot MK2. Together with the Pandora’s Box 230, these enable you to simulate large dynamic fires. Think of raging fires, a more complex house fire, or medium-sized industrial fires. By using the Phoenix Silkflame and FireSpot XXL, the simulations are also effective in daylight. With the three independently controllable flame effects, you can make your fire larger or smaller at any time.
The Pandora’s Box 230 is the heart of this set. This magical box controls your simulation. You can connect up to 3 flame effects to it. You can also connect your smoke generator. The two included external speakers provide sound wherever you want it. By scanning the QR code, you connect to the Pandora’s Box Wi-Fi network and get the web interface. From here, you can control all the components of your simulation individually. This offers unprecedented possibilities. You can simulate in a much more dynamic way than ever before because you can turn components on and off or adjust them during the exercise. You can even connect an Apollo LED extinguisher (not included) for interactive extinguishing!
A good simulation stimulates as many senses as possible. It’s not about what you see, but what you experience. That’s why using sound is a no-brainer. With the Pandora’s Box 230, you have access to a library of over 30 sounds, ranging from fire sounds to cries for help and worsening conditions. You can even use up to 6 sounds simultaneously!
Create large flame fronts with the Phoenix Silkflame. The strong LED spots shine on the fabric, which can reach up to 200 cm in height. But even without the fabric, the Phoenix stands strong. The powerful fan is designed to move large amounts of smoke. The smoke is forcefully pushed upward, and the LED lighting does the rest. Large flames are projected into the smoke, which rises powerfully. This creates the illusion of a fully developed fire. Ideal for larger fires and spreading fires, even in daylight.

The 8 built-in programs provide a flame image that suits your training objectives. For example, you can easily select the thermal runaway mode if you want to practice with burning battery packs, such as under an electric vehicle. The spot is also waterproof and can be connected directly to the Pandora’s Box 230 using the powerCON connector.
This updated FireSpot features 8 built-in simulation programs, ensuring you never miss the most suitable flame effects. Shine the spots from the back into a smoke column, and you’ll see the most realistic flames appear in the smoke. One of the built-in programs is the thermal runaway mode, which simulates the explosion of battery cells. The special lens system and two-color LEDs achieve a realistic light distribution. The powerCON connector allows it to be extended waterproof and connected directly to the Pandora’s Box 230. However, with the included Schuko adapter, it can also be used standalone.
The Stratus Smoke Generator is the most powerful smoke machine available, with a maximum output of 1250 m³ of smoke per minute. Perfect for simulating large fires, raging fires, and wildfires. Via the Pandora’s Box 230, the machine is infinitely adjustable from 0 to 100%. It can also be used vertically to create realistic smoke layers. Together with the incredible output of the Stratus, this makes it the most versatile smoke machine for large-scale work.
To complete your setup, a smoke fluid sample pack is included with the Simulations Set. It contains four types of smoke fluids: ‘Fire Drill’, ‘Universal’, ‘Intensive’, and ‘Extreme’. With these, you can always create the most suitable smoke effect for your simulation.
